The Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Samiti has fixed 10:55 am of October 22 as the most pious time for Badadashain Tika. Kojagrat Prunima, the last day of the festival, falls on 26 October.The Samiti has determined that the auspicious time for Gatasthapana is at 11:25 am on 13 October. Ramchandra Gautam, the chief of the committee has shared that 11:35 am on 14 October is the most pious time to replace the national flag with the new one at the government offices and Nepal Army’s offices. The eight day of Dashain, Mahaashtami is being celebrated on 21 October on Wednesday and Kalratri will be performed on the same day.The ninth and tenth day of the festival are being celebrated on the same day on 22 October. Gautam said that the auspicious hour for immersing statues of goddesses is at 10:45 am and for receiving Tika and Prasad at 10:55 am on 22 October. The pious time of procession of Tulaja Bhawani and Khadgayatra are at 11:01 am and at 11:55 am respectively on the day of Vijaya Dashami.
